ABOUT US

All are welcome, regardless of background and beliefs.

We are a ministry stewarded by college students, for college students, that creates a tangible depiction of the life of the early house-church. We incorporate each element of Acts 2:42-47 into both our weekend trips and our lives back on campus. Whether that is sharing the gospel with a stranger on a hiking trail, or sharing a meal together in a massive house, we are guided and sent by the word of God and exist to build up the body of Christ.

Each trip includes: intentional cacr rides, sweet time in a rented house, unhurried hours of worship, encouragement, prayer, and adventures in the local area.

OUR MISSION

Each trip or on-campus event is based around the fellowship, breaking of bread, prayers, and servanthood of the believers in Acts 2.

We are a ministry of invitation that creates a table for Jesus to meet with His children, a table where people encounter the welcoming love of Christ, a table where all are fully known and seen exactly where they are at, and a table that transforms lives through the gospel

The kingdom of God is like a great banquet, and you are invited. “And the master said to the servant, ‘Go out to the hedges and highways and hedges and compel people to come in, that my house may be filled.’” (Luke 14:23)

We exist to be the light of the world, like a city on a hill, marked by intentionality, compassion, and boldness. Just like the early believers in Acts 2, we’re devoted to the Word, to encouragement, to serving each other, to worship, and to being missionaries to the places we travel. Following Jesus is life and life to the full and we love because he first loved us. Our mission is to cultivate a family of ordinary people that will turn the world upside down. We want to welcome all not only to the house, but to the kingdom of God.

How Acts 2 Began

What began as a creative spark to foster fellowship within college community turned into something far greater than anyone expected. In January 2024, 45 friends made their way to the beloved Hacienda in Utah. Over the course of that weekend, they worshipped, grew in deep fellowship, and shared testimonies with radical vulnerability. It was a glimpse of heaven on earth.

Moved by the unity and presence of God, this group left stirred with a calling—to invite many others into the same encounter.

With hearts praying for unity, boldness, dedication, and gratitude, the Acts 2 Church Traveling Ministry was born.

Now, many servants have risen up, walking boldly in that vision. They are unified, dedicated, and full of gratitude as they invite new students, returning students, family, friends, or anyone the age of a college student, into this life-changing experience.
